    • To expedite local / import purchase orders

    An offshore oil and gas contractor which specialises in the inspection and maintenance of offshore drilling, accommodation modules, early production units, fixed structures and ship repairs maintenance requires a Yard Manager to join them on a permanent residential basis in Sharjah.

    Reporting to the Operations Director the main objective is to ensure that the delegated functions are carried out efficiently and diligently according to the standards and policies of the company.

    - Completion of Technical Secondary School (12 years) education or school education (10 years) + 1 or 2 years Technical Course.
    - 3 years experience of which at least 1 year in the similar position in a petrochemical or chemical industry.
    - Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent (NEBOSH). Safety & Hygiene etc.
    - Good knowledge of English.

    Controls maintenance cost including materials cost related to all maintenance activities carried out in the Division. Identifies maintenance works suitable for contracting out and prepares detailed specifications and work scope thereof. Participates in preparation of annual maintenance budgets, monitors maintenance expenditure and annual maintenance budgets, monitors maintenance expenditure and prepares periodic cost performance and management reports with indices. Participates in progress monitoring of contract execution works and during shutdowns.

    • The ideal candidate should be a graduate in Chemistry with 2years experience.
    • He must be proficient in the use of MS office software.
    • Must not be more than 27yrs.
    • Must be resident in Lagos.

    • The candidate must possess a minimum of B.Sc. Second Class in engineering discipline
    • Must have good technical knowledge of well operations, ability to analyse well operations and determine areas requiring improvement
    • Must be resourceful and full of initiative to improve well operations
    • Must possess good presentation skills and ability to facilitate meetings
    • Good interpersonal skills, communications and organizational skills are essential
    • Must have attended industry courses in well engineering. well operations management and project management
    • Membership of Society of Petroleum Engineers is essential
    • The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in upstream Oil and Gas exploration
