Must preferably have two to three years working experience in an advertising or communications field

Our client is looking for a medium weight below-the-line male designer who has the confidence to support a creative rationale and is able to interpret a brief correctly.

The successful candidate will assist with POS and communication ordering with Brand Manager and sales staff, will need to send press kits to the PR agency and to the media, will need to send stock to the media for shoots, identify magazine coverage and circulation within the company, order and distribute trade gifts, look for new marketing opportunities and identify trends, drive promotions, arrange events, budget control. Previous involvement in retail industry would be an advantage

Our client, who is a major player in the South African Liquor Industry, marketing a wide range of brands such as Wellington VO, Russian Bear, Cape to Rio, Glenfiddich, Grants, Campari, Skyy etc., is looking for a Marketing Analyst who, under limited supervision, is responsible for conducting comprehensive and detailed market analysis and who can persuasively make recommendations based on results.
This would involve developing and compiling layers of in-depth information and statistics, whilst maintaining on-going files necessary for the Brand Managers to develop forecasts, make recommendations on pricing, marketing strategies, strategic plans, promotional evaluation and assisting with any other special projects.

Good verbal and written communication is essential as is computer literacy and own transport.
Relevant sales experience and good references required.
The required candidate must be able to work as part of a team and independently.

Success of this position depends on the individuals ability to maintain an effective relationship with the existing client base.
