Job Description / Responsibility
The Project Officer-Technical is responsible for structural intervention of that project as per the developed project proposal and as per approved design.
Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information-sharing between IR Staffs & Project Manager.
He will coordinate with Shelter Engineer-HARED, Procurement department and supplier for the smooth implementation.
Coordination & networking with stake holders.
Well and proper documentation capacity and preservation and delivered to HAERD department with the dew time.
To facilitate donor/external visit and ensure that recommendation of visitors are addressed.
The Project Officer (Technical) will coordinate with the other IRB staffs based in Dhaka and others.
Preparation of the construction action plan, progress report and monthly, quarterly report & final report.
Supervising the technical staffs & to improve their capacity
Documentation of all the official documents and also different note sheet develop.
Participation in Technical survey, Emergency Need assessment, base line survey, FGD, Training/ meeting at different level.
Budget Controlling, Budgeting, checking & reviewing of bills & settling with financial expenditure.
Frequently supporting & Coordination with Shelter Engineer-HAERD, Field technical staffs, Project officers, Field Facilitators, Procurement Department, Contractors and share the information timely.
Assisting to project manager in the coordination with donors, local governments, international agencies and other local agencies.
Support the field/partner teams on site by regularly visiting intervention sites and discussion with team based on the findings.
Providing necessary support to project manager in arranging any meeting/ training/ seminar/ workshop etc
Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects or any other place directed by supervisor.

Educational Requirements
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/Diploma in Civil Engineering from any government institutions.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Additional Job Requirements
Job Location will be Sadar upazila of Satkhira district.
Project duration: 12 months.
Minimum of 03 years (for graduate engineer)/10 years (for diploma engineer) experience in working for national and international NGOs.
Should be experienced in Low cost shelter construction, sanitary latrine, Sanitation & technical training conduction.
Experience in Contractor/Mistry Dealing.
Coordination with field office staffs, Country office and other stakeholders.
Project construction progress tracking and regular follow up.
Proven expertise and knowledge of Auto CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Salary Range
TK.41116 - 45000
