Our client is excited to expand their Logistics Team in Toronto with a Logistics Support Coordinator.

Our client has 43 manufacturing locations, including operations and joint ventures in 19 countries and a worldwide network of distributors and sales offices covering more than 160 countries. They have a global work force of more than 9,000.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
- To report directly to the Logistics Manager on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to the business unit within the company. As well as, to communicate effectively with the respective managers with respect to clarity of direction, approval for decisions and execution of all related responsibilities.
- Interact with the freight audit company pertaining to the processing of all freight invoices.
- Assist with coding or allocation of freight expense invoices sent to freight audit company for payment.
- Handle proof of delivery requests by contacting the carrier to obtain the required information.
- Arrange pickups of raw material from the U.S. and Canadian vendors for delivery to the factory.
- Work in conjunction with the Logistics Manager to maintain the NAFTA Certificate of Origin file, by obtaining from U.S. vendors a yearly blanket Certificate. This involves, verifying which vendors are current, adding new vendors to the list, identifying the product bought, the correct tariff numbers to use, etc.
- Call various transportation companies to arrange for delivery of goods to Cleveland and other destinations in the U.S. Prepare customs paperwork for goods being exported to the U.S.
- Prepare and handle weekly shipments from Statewide Warehouse in Cleveland, to the factory. Shipments consist of 10-20 vendors and entails setting up border clearance by faxing product description and value for each vendor to our broker.
- Download weekly, using Tradesmart Plus software, all entries from Russell Farrow Customs Brokers, daily entries into Canada. At the same time duty and brokerage are allocated to the proper accounts and passed along to the accounting department for payment.
- Must be able to obtain rates for international shipments and be able to make the applicable arrangements to handle quotes or move product.
- Arrange for the return of RMA goods and warranty to the DC.
- Prepare invoices, certificates, memos and other documents as needed.
- Handle requests for information from our customs broker pertaining to all imported goods.
- To assist the Logistics Manager in the preparation and analysis of all RFQ?s send to Logistics Providers
- To work with the Logistics Manager and Lincoln Cleveland in gathering and presenting information with regards to key projects such as Ocean Cargo, NAFTA etc.
- In absence of the Logistics Manager, it is important to be generally familiar with all other duties performed by the Logistics Manager, and to be able to deal with customer requests, transportation companies, purchasing and order departments, company sales persons, etc.
- To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- To fully abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric?s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
- To fully abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric?s Code of Corporate Conduct and Ethics along with any other Compliance related policies and requirements
- To conduct any general duties, import/export business, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Logistics Manager and/or his/her designate in a timely and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree or College Diploma
- A minimum of 3-5 years of Logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- Detail oriented self-starter and team-player with excellent oral and written communications
- Strong excel and MS Office skills
- Transportation/logistics related courses would be an asset
- CITT professional designation or working towards it would be an asset
- Experience working with SAP is an asset
