Job description
Leading Global Media Network seeks a Technical Community Manager with a strong understanding of information technologies and mobile business products in the ICT sector. The Technical Community Manager will be the key face of IT specialists for the company and will provide technical support to SMMEs in the online space. The Technical Community Manager will serve as a technical leader creating re-usable knowledge in communities and being a steward of community members to build trust, seed information, create ambassadors and realize recruitment.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring forums, blogs, Twitter and other social networking sites to discover the key environments where IT specialists and SMME business owners/practitioners look for assistance with technical products and services;
Communicate with IT specialists and SMME business owners/practitioners on relevant forums, blogs and other social networks and answer their IT questions and provide assistance
Requirements
Working knowledge of PC / Mac configurations;
Ability to fault find and recommend IT solutions;
Advantageous
Strong IT and technical background
Ability to analyse, configure and troubleshoot IT issues ranging from networks, security, software and hardware issues, VoIP and mobile
Online community management experience a bonus
Ability to drive change through innovation
