Senior Pharmacokineticist - Germany

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Pharmacokineticist to join an aggressively growing Biopharmaceutical company based in WEST GERMANY near Dusseldorf. Although only in operation for a short period in comparison to competitors, there is a vast product pipeline within Anti infectives. Its activities comprise of discovery and research and development of antiviral and antibacterial agents (within HIV and other medical need).

The role of this individual is to provide PK/PD input and scientific concepts projects. Furthermore, you will design, control and report PK/PD studies

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in an appropriate area e.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacology. HOWEVER, a Masters degree will be sufficient or a MD.

You will need to display strong knowledge of Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Drug Metabolism in the discovery and development process.

Proven skills in PK or PK/PD data analysis, predictive modelling and illustrative presentation of such data (including medical writing)

An understanding of clinical development strategies and tactics coupled with experience in the evaluation of PK derived from clinical trials (Phases 1 to 3).

Salary bandings are dependent on application and experience.
