This role inspects, maintains as well as repairs and replaces door and related hardware components.

Responsibilties:
- Conducts regular inspection and preventative maintenance on commercial doors and related hardware.
- Responds to service requests. Troubleshoots and resolves commercial door and related hardware issues.
- Repairs, replaces and installs door hardware components.
- Demonstrates safe work practices. Recognizes job hazards and takes steps to mitigate.
- Completes required paperwork relating to services performed.
- Requires shift work and availability for on-call/standby and emergency call out.
- Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve door hardware component issues.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems relating to doors and door hardware components.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Strong client-service orientation.
- Awareness of environmental, health and safety issues.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation:
- Valid drivers' license.
