Our client based in the lower mainland provides technical field service support, responsible for testing, commissioning, maintenance as well as repair and upgrades for various power system devices. They are continuously growing their operations outside the lower mainland and require additional Field Service Supervisors.

This is a permanent role reporting to the Field Service Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical high voltage service technicians, technologists, and journeyman in the commissioning, testing, service and repair of power equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and protective relay systems.
- Align branch goals with corporate goals.
- Ensure that field service work is scheduled and completed within the technical and quality requirements of each project.
- Oversee staff in their daily duties, ensuring that project deadlines are met, while following all company standards and procedures, and safe and efficient work practices.
- Responsible for the day to day office operation of a fast paced service organization.
- Ensure workplace health and safety compliance for the organizations facilities, employees and assets.
- Customer relations.
- Estimate & quote projects.
- Set up invoicing and collaborate with accounting department.

Requirements:
- Technologist or trades background
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation as well as communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of electrical equipment
- Clean driver's license
