We are on the lookout for a talented software professional to offer the opportunity to work with a leading Retail Software development company in UK. The company provides state-of-the-art Retail Software Solutions ranging from Till Software, Advanced Stock Control and Retail Management Systems, Sales and Financial Reporting Systems which seamlessly integrates in fulfilling the needs of modern Retail organizations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Hold a Degree in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent.
Over 6 years of industry experience in design & development of Enterprise Business Applications in C# and ASP.NET out of which a minimum of 2-years in a Technical-Lead position.
Experience with .NET Framework (3.0 - 4.0) including good skills with Web Services/WCF.
Very good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based implementations.
Experience with Distributed, Transaction Intensive, and High-data volume Client/Server applications.
Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services.
Some experience with OLAP and Data Analysis Technologies (e.g : ContourCube) will be desirable.
Good understanding of Design Patterns, Entity Framework and LINQ.
Experience with Agile Software Development Practices (SCRUM).
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills are a must.
High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
Previous experience working with offshore clients in a Technical-Lead role will be advantageous.
The position demands providing high quality technical leadership for a small team in driving the ground-up design & development of an Advanced Retail Management System which involves Stock, Product, Cash, Supplies and Delivery Management together with interactive Reporting and Data Analysis features.
