If you want to start building your career in Adult Care, an Apprenticeship Programme with Doncaster Council and partners providing placements across the independent sector, voluntary sector and the council is the perfect way.

With the help and support from experienced staff you will have chance to learn new skills, gain qualifications and earn a training allowance. You will be supported with on the job experience, attend off the job training and work towards qualifications including Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults).

Adult Care is enriching services users’ lives, by promoting their independence, meeting their individual needs while providing them with choice. Service users are to be treated equally, not discriminated against, shown respect, dignity, privacy and confidentiality while ensuring they live safely and are protected from harm and abuse.

Duties may include:
Assisting with activities, serving meals, making and changing beds, assisting with personal care, laundry, communication, talking with service users.
