Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical/Process Control Manager oversees the electrical, instrumentation and process computer control systems in the Delta plant. He/she ensures that the objectives of the Delta plant are met through the efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities:
- Manage employees and contractors in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, instrumentation and process control systems and equipment.
- Plan, design and manage maintenance and engineering projects.
- Provide leadership in trouble-shooting, problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Ensure all documentation and related records are maintained and updated as required.
- Responsible for the preparation of department budgets.
- Ensure the safety of all plant personnel with respect to electrical hazards.
- Liaise with BC Hydro, BC Safety Authority, and other relevant external agencies.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering and registered P.E. in BC or eligible for registration.
- 5-7 years progressive experience in electrical engineering in heavy manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of:
   - Relevant codes and standards.
   - The operation and maintenance of industrial electrical equipment.
   - CAD software and BC Safety Rep Certification an asset.
- Familiar with PLC, DCS and HMI architecture (i.e. Cemat S7/WINCC software and hardware).
- Experience in leadership, project management, strategic thinking and decision making.
- Must be prepared to work outside of normal hours and access be able to the plant under all weather conditions.
