BCM, Brisbane's largest independent advertising agency is looking for a Systems Administrator/ IT Manager to look after all of our IT needs.

In this hands on role, you'll manage and provide daily support to our IT systems. We use Macs and PCs in our 80-person agency so we're looking for someone who has broad practical experience. As such, you'll be capable of handling multiple projects and have strong interpersonal skills.

This is an autonomous position where you'll act as both advisor in regards to IT infrastructure and systems, as well as implementer of your recommendations.

The role calls for someone who has a good working knowledge with high levels of competence in the following technologies:
• Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008
• Windows XP and Windows 7 in a corporate domain environment
• Mac OS X in a domain environment
• Competent in file, print, database, messaging and domain controller setup and maintenance
• VMWare ESX servers
• Backup and Recovery
• Networking, especially firewalls, VLAN, switches, WLAN, WAN connectivity and VPN access
• Network security and best practice
• Web hosting and setup of associated services including DNS

We're also looking for someone with a working knowledge of:
• Fibre Channel storage and switching
• iDevices, printers, scanners and AV equipment
• Office 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2011
• Adobe CS Suites of programs
• Phone systems
• A good understanding of colour management across a multitude of devices
• A good understanding of licensing and current activation technologies
• A solid grasp of web application and software security which should complement a thorough understanding of firewall and network/server security issues.
