Shared Legal Solutions is a recently formed joint legal service betweenWokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
We have an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join us predominantly within our litigation and prosecution team, to provide secretarial and administrative support. The role will be initially on a part time basis but maybe increased to full time for the right candidate.
This role will attract a competent legal assistant or secretary with excellent IT skills. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a litigation environment and have effective communication skills.
Key Duties will be general secretarial/administration support including
•Produce correspondence and legal documentation via audio and copy typing
•Producing legal bundles, document organisation, indexing and assembly of files.
•Manage fee earner diaries using Microsoft Outlook to include client appointments
•File management
The ability to work under pressure, assist others and to be a pro-active member of the team is essential.
