Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day network operations in an Active Directory environment, including: maintaining network security; monitoring and optimizing network performance; installing all upgrades and patches; user and group administration; managing backups; disaster recovery planning; purchase & repair of server hardware; and maintaining several stand-alone networks at program locations. Responsible for CHD’s telecommunications systems, including software and hardware, and other key functions of CHD’s telecommunications.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2 – 4 years experience managing an Active Directory network and telecommunications systems. Strong understanding of Exchange Server, remote access technologies and protocols, thin clients, wireless networks, the interdependence of database applications and network configurations. Familiarity with Cisco and HP switch gear a plus.

Creative problem solving skills; excellent customer service skills; strong communication and documentation skills; able to work independently as well as part of a team; flexible and willing to work outside of normal business hours when necessary. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
