SEGMENT MANAGERS

DESCRIPTION:

The Segment Manager is responsible for the Development and Execution of Comprehensive marketing plan for an assigned segment in the telecom market which is to be based on the following propositions; product, pricing, communication, sales and customer services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and own the customer experience for assigned segment.

Appreciate the differentiated demands of the market segment and identify new business opportunities and technologies to assist with growth goals.

Develop acquisition, usage and retention strategies, programs and plans for the segment.

Work with communication team to develop the message, collateral, branding and media plan for promotions

Work with product team to define the product and content road-map for the segment.

Work with Sales to develop the channel strategy and distribution plan for the segment and implement innovative ways to deliver the product.

Work with pricing to develop value Propositions which are relevant and competitive for the segment.

Prepare and give presentations to management on market planning, product selection, technology and innovation for assigned market segment.

REQUIREMENTS:
A recognized university degree and minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the telecom industry.

Ability to make quick and difficult decisions.

Strong business acumen with sharp analytical skills.

Strong communication and project management skills.

Must be able to accomplish results in a fast paced, cross-functional team environment, exhibiting formal and informal leadership skills and a strong goal / results orientation.
