Applications are invited for an experienced Registered Nurse to join Ward 1 - Orthopaedic Ward at Whangarei Hospital. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for maintaining a high degree of nursing care, clinical leadership and have substantial technical knowledge whilst leading the team of staff.
Your role is key to being part of an integrated orthopaedic service which is experiencing significant growth. There is a requirement to have a commitment to ensuring high quality patient care and the efficient functioning of the ward as well as providing a day to day management of staff and patients and their families.
You will be a leader who will strive to manage by example, have clinical expertise, enthusiasm and a focus on high level patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team on ward 1, comprised of 7 Surgeons, 4 Registrars and 3 House Officers.
The successful applicant must be eligible for registration in New Zealand as a Registered Nurse, have a current practicing certificate from the New Zealand Nursing Council and have a minimum of 3 years experience in Orthopaedic nursing.
