Responsibilities:
Perform general accounting activities associated with monthly and yearly financial closings which include:
Preparation of Journal Entries related to monthly and yearly financial closings;
Preparation of General Leger account reconciliations and ensure that accounts are reconciled with actual;
Reconciliation of Inter-Company accounts receivables/payables;
Ensuring that Corporate reports are prepared and submitted on a timely basis;

Responsible for maintaining and reconciling Accounts Receivable
Performs clean-up of customer account;
Performs collection activities;
Completes cash discount audit on all cash discounts taken, documents this on established Excel tracking format;
Completes daily tracker reports as assigned (cash received, unapplied cash, customer deductions that are not pre-approved);
Actively pursue best practices within the Quote-to-Cash cycle, which includes working with Division employees (such as customer service, sales and logistics) to eliminate errors that cause customer disputes;
Examines and resolves cash-related discrepancy such as Cash on Account (CA) and Debit on Account (DA)
Examines and resolves past due hand invoices such as Debit Tooling (DT), Debit Freight (DF), Debit Expense (DE), etc
Establish open and professional interface with all departments to identify and resolve all receivables issues relating to pricing errors, equipment problems, legal issues, early shipments and credits due in order to meet DSO and other portfolio targets
Assist General Accounting Manager with record retention policy compliance and handle any special tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
Minimum of 2-5 years of general accounting and accounts receivable experience
Preferably CPA
Excellent English required
Excellent oral and written communication
Excellent interpersonal skills
Very Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, procedures and techniques
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
Results-oriented with a sense of urgency in meeting project goals and deadlines
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Willing to work on a night-shift and Holidays
