The World Bank Funded Road Sector Assistance Project established under the Ministry of Highways & Road Development intends to recruit a Project Accountant. The selected candidate will work in the above mentioned Project Management Unit.

Qualifications and Experience:
    * Class 1 Officer of the Government Accountants Service with 10yrs experience, preferably in Financial Management of Foreign Funding Agency funded Development Projects    OR
    * Chartered/ Corporate membership of a recognized professional institution in the field of Accountancy (CIMA/ ACCA/ ICASL) and a minimum of 8yrs funded Development Projects
    * Good communication skills in English (oral & written)
    * computer literacy and experience in financial software
    * good interpersonal relation skills

Age limit: below 55yrs on the date of closing of applications
Salary: In terms of Management Circular No. 33 of 2007

Terms of Employment
Initially, the appointment will be on one-year contract basis, extension of service will be considered exclusively on performance evaluation.

Other Benefits:
EPF Contribution by the employer 12% and ETF 3% of the salary contribution by the employee is 10% of the salary.
