Lush Productions has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised Finance Manager to join and experience a lifestyle company with an informal culture and a family feel.
Based in St.Kilda, Lush Productions is one of Australia’s leading distributors and licensees servicing the skate, surf and street wear markets. Having been in operation since 1994, Lush Productions has steadily built a reputation as a key supplier to many retailers in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the financial well being of the company, ensuring that everything runs in a timely, accurate and effective manner.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Providing financial control and commercial insight to support the planning and strategic decision making of the company
Maintenance and preparation of accurate financial statements and reports
Preparation of the annual budgets, forecasting, and managing the cash flow
Processing overseas payments, LC’s and goods received
Preparation of Income Tax, GST, FBT and Payroll returns.
Monthly and/or quarterly commission, rebate and royalty calculations
Accounts receivable management
Accounts payable
Preparation and review of costings
Processing weekly wages and monthly superannuation

The ideal candidate for this job will be CA or CPA qualified with extensive experience within all round accounting roles. They will also have a strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, budgeting and reporting.
They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst working to deadlines. The right person for this role will also be a confident and proactive individual who has a hands-on approach; and experience in improving systems and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MYOB is a must. Previous experience in the clothing industry in a similar role will be highly regarded.
