We are currently recruiting for candidates with an extensive Media Communications background who are interested in working on a temporary/contract basis with one of our Federal Government clients. This opportunity is best suited to a Senior-level Communications Officer who is accustomed to managing communications projects in a consultant/advisory capacity. This will be an opportunity to work with a Federal Government whose mandate is to support, enable and enrich international development.
As a Media Communications Advisor, your role will encompass, but is not limited to:
Being a key point of contact for all public communications products
Providing consulting services to all Communications staff as well as stakeholders
Developing and managing media communications tools
Suggesting proposals to implement and develop new media tools
Conducting research, analysis and generating reports on web trends
Extensively participating in inter-departmental meetings
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:
Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance
Excellent communication skills in both official languages
Prior experience working for a Federal Government department as a Communications Advisor
Extensive experience working with new media products
An aptitude for working in a deadline-driven environment
Proven ability to ensure that communications materials meet the requirements of a wide range of stakeholders
