We are currently seeking an Intermediate Graphic (Print) Designer to join the Delta team.
Candidate will be responsible for producing graphic art and visual materials for promotions and advertisements with the use of current graphic design software and knowledge.

Reporting to the General Manager Print Operations, the job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 Efficiently develop and execute design concepts for programs
 Provide creative direction to produce new ideas and concepts for our client's programs
 Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
 Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type
 Use computer software to create and montage new images
 Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer
 Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
 Confer with internal team to discuss and determine layout design
 Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites
 Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for print
 Other duties as assigned

Candidate should possess a particular skill set including the following:
 MUST be proficient in Print design, (specifically but not limited to), digital print design creative.
 An understanding of print terms and theory is important.
 Proficient in CS and Quark on the PC and Mac platform, as well as be up to date in file transfer methods
 Quality oriented and attention to detail
 Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
 Possess high energy and work well under deadlines
 Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects a must
 Ability to take constructive feedback
 Proficiency in the most current design and production software tools
 Excellent documentation and communication skills
 Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
 Flexibility to work on call, unusual hours or extended shifts when necessary
 Ability to take responsibility and complete work with minimal supervision
 Ability to handle sometimes stressful work environment in a professional manner
 Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
 Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization
 Web experience is a plus

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years direct graphic design work experience. A portfolio of past design work is essential.
