We are looking to recruit a Financial Systems Specialist to work as part of the systems development team primarily delivering systems support and improvement to applications.
You will be proficient in the use, support, delivery and improvement of multiple specialist applications and will have experience in supporting relational databases.
You should be experienced in the administration of Agresso 5.4/5.5, with an awareness of accounting procedures and practices used by local authorities and ideally be a part-qualified CCAB accountant or AAT qualified.
You will also need to have an awareness of the business processes, especially purchase–to-pay and be able to engage with the businesses to ensure system improvement plans meet business requirements and align with ICT strategy.
You will have an understanding of ICT best practice, project management and IT service delivery and support methodologies. You will also be well organised, flexible and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
