Contract Distribution company requires the services of a dedicated and energetic person to fill the position of National Key Account Manager at their Century City offices.
(The Patterson job grade for this position is C2.)

The purpose of this job is to manage the relationship of the Company with its Primary Customers in such a manner that agreed service level standards can be adhered to and be executed.

Knowledge:
• Matric with a relevant tertiary education in sales/marketing will be advantageous (or equivalent knowledge and skills)
• At least four years experience in media sales is essential
• Must have dealt extensively with advertising agencies and national clients
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans

• Computer literacy - MS Office (incl. Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Good communication skills - oral and written
• Excellent organizing, coordinating and planning skills
• Ability to identify and solve problems within time constraints

Key outputs:
• Responsible for daily generation of new business through sales of distribution products
• Liaise with clients with regard to their distribution and printing needs
• Responsible for stimulating the market by creating new opportunities to satisfy clients' advertising needs
• Responsible for building strategic working relationship with clients by interacting with them on continuous and multi-leveled basis
• Ensure the achievement of sales targets
• Analyze potential sales opportunities by using data analyses, segmented research and information available to identify the attributes most valued by these potential clients
• Prepare sales pitches using current research and perform the entire sales transaction successfully
