Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
Develop and design assembly stations including all tables, jigs, fixtures, pneumatics & hydraulics.
Create and write procedures for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
Design construction of special machines for automation.
Specify and source equipment. Communicate with suppliers.
Analyze components and assemblies for stress, strain and fluid flow parameter.
Organize / supervise installation and start up of capital projects.
Instruct employees on manufacturing, work methods, machine operation and maintenance.
Plan, organize and write capital requests.
Assist with Lean implementation.

Qualifications
Three - five years in high volume automotive manufacturing.
Knowledge of diesel engine operation and fuel systems.
CAD and Pro E Software experience.
Four year related degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to verbally communicate technical information clearly and quickly.
Ability to perform proficiently under pressure situations and time constraints.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
