The Sr. Sales Executive will be responsible for the development of new business and to expand the market area and increase productivity and revenue within their assigned regions.

The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus and sales driven "can do" attitude. He or she will have a minimum of 7 years freight forwarding experience and a complete understanding of all modes of transportation ( Air & Ocean import and export, customs brokerage and surface logistics), coupled with an impressive client track record.


COMPANY PROFILE:
Our client is an international freight forwarding and logistics company that provides:
- Domestic and foreign air and ocean freight forwarding business, trucking company agent
- Customs agent
- Transportation agent
- Any business related to all of the above

BENEFITS:
- Full time position
- Salary: $50,000 to $65,000, commission 5% on net GP
- Benefits include: Health, Dental, after 2 years Pension company contribution
- Car allowance: $700 per month, mileage reimbursement at 25 cents per km

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

-Secure new customers through pro-active sales activities
-Negotiate price and service packages with prospective accounts
-Maintain accurate customer information
-Report results on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis as required by Management
-Monitor accounts and resolve problems relating to service processes or systems
-Analyze the profitability of all business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum 7+ years sales experience within the freight forwarding industry
-Proven sales and business development record
-Excellent presentation and communication skills
-Proficient computer use; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently
