The Job

As a leader in niche resources our partner is seeking a true HR veteran to strategise and influence the delivery of a significant project within a challenging, values-based work environment.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will provide strategic and operational Human Capital support to senior and operational management across site business operations. A primary focus will be to provide leadership and direction to the regional team ensuring that service delivery is provided in a highly responsive, professional, and value adding manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Working with Managers to understand key commercial drivers and needs
* Lead workforce planning programs
* Recommend Human Capital policies and objectives forging strong relationships and ensuring high morale
* Ensuring programs, policies and legislation are implemented, maintained and improved
* Monitoring remuneration including competitive analysis of remuneration packaging
* Undertake and coordinate recruitment, selection and training of staff to ensure workforce planning needs are met

A high focus will be on maintaining a talent succession planning process, performance management, strategic business planning, and a high level of knowledge surrounding workplace relations legislation. You will have experience in liaising with industrial authorities including unions, and industry groups to state and federal government level.

With a Degree in HR or similar you will have excellent interpersonal and people skills at all levels. You will ensure development programs for all employees are delivered effectively as part of ongoing learning within this ever changing environment.

As a true HR Generalist your experience and previous achievements in the development and management of strategic HR issues will set you apart, as will your exposure to remote, mine site and highly industrial environments. Your track record will naturally reflect your leadership and project management skills from a workforce planning perspective and in a resources environment.

This is a highly sought after role which will enable you to bring your true strategic HR shaping to the forefront. This residential role will require your commitment to being based in a remote location in regional Queensland.
